Grenada is a Caribbean island with a population of 110,000. A rash of commercial and residential fires in 2019 highlighted the fact that 72 full time and 33 volunteer firefighters in Grenada were in desperate need of updated equipment. Grenada’s firefighters respond to 350-400 emergency calls per year and all of these calls were made with ripped protective clothing and outdated equipment.

In the spring of 2020, GlobalFire collected essential equipment from fire departments across Canada and shipped it to Grenada so that local firefighters are better prepared to protect their communities. GlobalFire's donation included bunker jackets and pants, helmets, SCBA, grass fire fighting equipment, water rescue equipment and a variety of tools. The gear was given to the Royal Grenada Police Force in St. Georges for their Fire Department who expressed that the donation was "well received and highly appreciated."
